About

Bold Magazine is an independent quarterly about art, design and the
culture in between. We publish long reads, studio visits and photo
essays about the people who make things in public — printers, painters,
sculptors, sign-writers and the occasional troublemaker.

Started in 2026, we're written by a small group of contributors across
six cities. Everything here is free to read. Subscribers get new issues
by email the morning they're published, plus the occasional note from
the studio.

Bold Magazine is a demonstration site for the Bold Ghost theme by
Themes by Kyle. The words and artwork are invented; the theme is real.
